From a die-hard person who loves peace and tries to live peaceably, Can’t we all just get along?!
I may not have cared for or liked every President that was in office, let alone other politicians, and I can definitely get cranked up at times, but I don’t bring harm to others over my frustrations. I never set fire to businesses, never went out and twerked 1/2 naked to prove a point, never was hateful towards those who differed in their political opinions, or never wanted anyone dead.
Life is hard enough at times, but the hatred between one another in society can make living even more difficult. It saddens me to see that people are afraid to say what they think because someone might get offended, or what they say might incite a hateful, lawless, anarchist-in-spirit mob to appear in their yard … good grief!!
Whether I like or don’t like those we’ve elected, I hope to always do what Christians are called to do — pray for those in authority.
